विश्वजछन्दसा अण्डधर ! आनन्द!
सानन्दं नृत्य, देव! तमोहर! हे प्रणृत्त!
वन्द्यं वन्द्यते निखिलसेवकवृन्दैः
वन्द्यं तव चरणरूपारविन्दम् ।
ज्वालय साग्निक! तपोहोमवह्निं
मोहतमः अन्तं करोतु तदग्निः ।
विश्वदेवालये सालोकशिखं
विलसतु प्रज्ञादीपकं
अज्ञानध्वान्तनाशकं
सपुलकानन्दम् ।
नर्तनतालयुतं पुष्पितोपवनं
प्रतिस्वनस्पन्दित-विकसितकाननं
सुगन्धायते शोभना धरणी
पुष्पजमोहनगन्धैः ।

About the original composer of the Asamese song
Bishnuprasad Rabha (1909 - 1969)
A cultural icon of Assam, was a visionary, poet, lyricist,
singer-composer, musician, artist, dancer, writer, dramatist,
actor and revolutionary activist with an exemplary commitment
towards social transformation and the cause of the deprived
section of toiling masses. He moved from place to place spending
a homeless life and sought to spread the message of love,
peace and harmony among the multi-ethnic, multi-linguistic
and multi-cultural people of his land.
He presented a dance performance on the 'Siva Tandava' in
Kashi Viswavidyalay in 1939.
