The metre used for these verses is called ## ashva dhATi ## the cadence of hooves of horses, meaning that Mother Nature's gait is not slow placed, nor hurrying, but rythmic and rational. So the chanters are requested to know each word, hence they are painfully cleaved, blend it with the other and then rythmically chant. Then only you can listen to its beauty. Desiraju H. Rao.
